Welcome to EC1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of ec1clothing.com (the “Site”) and to any order you place with us. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
EC1 is a streetwear brand based in Central London, United Kingdom. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean EC1; “you” and “your” mean the person using the Site or placing an order.
1. Using our site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses or other malicious material, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which it is stored, or any connected server or database.
2. Products
We take care to describe and show our products accurately. Images are for illustration only, and the colour you see may vary slightly depending on your device. Our garments are cut in teen sizes (Small, Medium and Large); please check the size guide on each product page before ordering. All products are subject to availability.
3. Your order and our contract
After you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract between us is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your items have been dispatched. We may decline an order — for example, if an item is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we are unable to authorise payment.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order. Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment provider. If a pricing error is identified, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.
5. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Estimated delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we have received payment in full. We are not responsible for delays outside our control (see clause 9).
6. Returns, cancellations and refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us via our Contact page. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Returned items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with any tags attached. We will refund the price you paid (and standard outbound delivery) within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof that you have returned them. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items unless they are faulty. Full details are in our Refund & Returns Policy.
7. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
8. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are supplied for domestic and private use.
9. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, such as supply failures, strikes, or disruption to transport or postal services.
10. Intellectual property
The EC1 name, logo, designs, graphics and all content on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy or reproduce them without our written permission.
11. Privacy and cookies
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
